Current Sensing Switches

Current Sensing switches can prevent multiple devices from operating at the same time, helping reduce on-peak demand and grid capacity charges.

The device monitors a specific appliance and can interrupt a separate appliance from operating at the same time.

An example situation would be stopping the air conditioner while an electric water heater is reheating. By rotating the larger electric loads in your home, you reduce the grid capacity reading.
