There are several payment options available to Capital Electric members-owners. These include automatic payments, payment by phone, online, mail, and drop off. Capital Electric does not charge any fees for paying your bill any way!
Pay Online
Smart Hub
SmartHub allows you to make payments in a secure environment right from your mobile device or PC. Go to capitalelec.smarthub.coop to log-in or register. You can also download the free app directly to your smart phone. SmartHub is also your one-stop resource for managing your Capital Electric account. You can view bills, make payments, view usage, manage automatic payments, and much more.
One Time Payment
You can make a one-time payment on an account by using just the account number and the last name or business name on the account by going to https://capitalelec.smarthub.coop/PayNow.html.
24/7 Pay by Phone
Pay your bill over the phone using our secure, automated phone system by calling 877-853-5928. You can inquire about your account balance, update your phone number, or make payments 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Please have your account number and payment information ready when you call.
Automatic Payments
To have your monthly electric bill payment automatically charged to your credit/debit card or withdrawn from your bank account, simply complete our Automatic Payment Authorization form and return it to our office. You can also sign up through your SmartHub account by selecting “Auto Pay Program” under the Billing and Payments tab. Please allow up to 4 weeks for processing.

Family Fare Supermarket at 4 locations (1190 W Turnpike, 3101 N 11th St, 835 S Washington, 3103 Yorktown Drive)
North Dakota State Capitol Building
Dakota Community Bank (Lincoln, ND location only, lobby during business hours, night depository after hours)
