Energy Resource Conservation

Capital Electric's Rural Energy Savings Program (RESP) loans are available to our members only. The loans can be used for the installation of a high-efficiency electric heating and/or air conditioning systems or other energy-saving products.

$10,000 for existing or new electric or storage electric heat including in-floor heat.

$5,000 for existing or new gas/oil for electric or water-heating.

$20,000 for the installation of geothermal heat pump systems and battery storage projects.

The interest rate is based on the current FFB rate.

All loans require a 20% down payment.
