Smart thermostats can help you win on both optional rates (coincident peak and demand time-of-use). 

These thermostats give you the ability to schedule your heating and cooling system to potentially pre-heat or pre-cool your home outside of peak time periods.

Smart thermostats are also a great way to monitor your home's temperature remotely. 

Most models will also send alerts in the event of a problem with the heating or cooling system. This is an excellent benefit if the member spends extended periods of time away from home.
