Capital Electric offers a discounted rate for electric heating systems.

If members heat their homes, garages or businesses with electric heat, they can install a submeter to track the heat usage independent of their general service.  

This heat usage is then separated on the bill as a discounted rate.

In most cases, the investment in a submeter kit is recovered in one winter season due to the discount savings. 

This discounted heat rate is available for any direct-wired electric space heating device. 

Heaters that plug into a normal 120V outlet do not qualify.
